INVASION OF THE INVASIVE STAR THISTLE

Success! In two hours on September 13th a team of 10 cleared a massive area near Turtle Pond of the dreaded yellow star thistle. Thanks to Troy Jurach, Chris Lewis, Noreen DeBruycker, Tom Biglione, Bea Velesquez, Bingson Wong, Dave Hubert, Jodi King, Rod Hall, and Elizbeth Bailey for all of the clipping, slashing, carrying and dumping to make room for the Native Plants and butterflies! We had a great time Thistiling whilst we worked out!
