The Sailor Bar Yellow Star Thistle Invasion Project continues! We shall overcome!
Join the California Native Plant Society, Sacramento and the Friends of Sailor Bar on Sundays, September 13, 20 and 27 and October 4, from 8:30 to 10:30 at the American River Parkway, Sailor Bar, 4253 Illinois Avenue, Fair Oaks. We will be at the Turtle Pond area (by the picnic tables).
Free parking for volunteers! Park in the first parking lot on the right.
Wear long pants and sleeves, closed-toed shoes, work gloves and a hat. Bring your pruning shears or clippers if you have them. No clippers? No worries! We will have them available for you! If anyone has a tarp, please bring it.
Can’t make it this Sunday? Join us at the same time on any of the other dates.
