9:30 – 10:30: Soar with the Eagles! We are excited and grateful to have acclaimed photographer and eagle whisperer, Kathy Kayner back by popular demand! Kathy will share her intimate journey with Mama and Papa Eagles, and other wildlife encounters! See her latest photos and be prepared to be enthralled!
10:30 – 11:15: Learn about the Miracle of the Acorn to Oak Tree! Oak Tree expert, Pamala Sanchez, otherwise known as “The Acorn Lady” will present fascinating facts about how a tiny acorn turns into a giant majestic Oak Tree. Hear about the many challenges and benefits that these amazing trees share right here on this Wild and Scenic American River parkway.
11:15 – 12:00: Paint the Bird Houses! Put your creative touch and signature on one of the 10 bird boxes that are planned to be installed at Sailor Bar! (Donations of $35 are requested to cover material costs.) Please email protectsailorbar@yahoo.com to reserve your birdbox, or call 916-837-4159.
